Through the DOST XI’s Grassroots Innovation for Inclusive Development (GRIND) Program, the said research journey and community engagement was held in another province of Davao Region – this time in a Bagobo-Tagabawa community. The activity aimed to identify grassroots innovations and to assess the needs and opportunities in the community where DOST can provide science and technology interventions to address certain problems at the grassroots.
Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) President, Dr. Augie Fuentes represented by Dr. Della Grace Bacaltos, together with DOST XI Regional Director, Dr. Anthony C. Sales, CESO III expressed their appreciation to the activity partners and discussed the rationale of the activity.
