The Department of Science and Technology Region XI is the new home of the 20 pieces of framed art prints made by local artist and professor, Teody Boylie “Bong” Perez.

In a turnover ceremony on Wednesday, November 18, Prof. Perez, a faculty of the Department of Humanities of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences of UP Mindanao, a Datu Bago awardee (2016) and a National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) 2020 Grantee officially handed over his artworks to the DOST XI represented by Regional Director Dr. Anthony C. Sales, CESO III.

The Food Processing Innovation Center-Davao’s best practice entry (FPIC-Davao) was hailed as one of the 10 winners for this year’s Government Best Practice Recognition (GBPR).

The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) declared the winning entries on Friday, October 23, 2020, after a two-day presentation of entries of the 26 finalists on October 22-23, 2020 which was streamed live via DAP’s YouTube Channel.

DAVAO CITY – Answering the call to help the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) especially in this time of the pandemic, the Association of Regional Executives of National Agencies (ARENA XI) donated essential supplies to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology XI (BJMP XI)  on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.

The Department of Science and Technology Region XI (DOST XI) has unlocked another achievement as its Food Processing and Innovation Center-Davao (FPIC-Davao) is among the 26 finalists for this year’s Government Best Practice Recognition (GBPR).

According to the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), out of the 73 entries received for this year, 26 entries passed the screening. These entries shall advance to the next stage which is the Presentation to the Panel of Judges on 22-23 October 2020.
