A total of 28 Indigenous Farmers from OsmeƱa United Indigenous People Association (OSMUPA) in Davao del Sur joined the Turmeric Plant Propagation Training conducted by the Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST XI) as part of the agency's Community Empowerment through Science and Technology (CEST) program. 

The Department of Science and Technology Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) is still accepting applications from junior college students or incoming 2nd-year college students for the Junior Level Science Scholarship (JLSS) program until July 31, 2022.

The Balasinon Oyster Farmers' Association (BOFA), a women's organization in the province of Davao del Sur, was introduced to new ways of processing their oyster meat into various innovative food products through different technology trainings conducted by the Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST XI) through its Provincial Science and Technology Center (PSTC) in Davao del Sur.

Davao City 2nd Legislative District Councilor Hon. Atty. Diosdado Mahipus Jr. has filed a Resolution congratulating and commending Hydrology for Environment, Life and Policy (HELP) Davao Network for having been awarded by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) as an Outstanding Non-Government Organization (NGO) in their 64th Anniversary. 

The Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST XI) through the Provincial Science and Technology Center in Davao del Sur (PSTC Davao del Sur), spearheads the distribution of Radio Repeater and Immuno Analyzer equipment to identified beneficiaries of the Community Empowerment through Science and Technology (CEST) Project in Sulop, Davao del Sur.
