Make S&T your future! The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is calling all qualified 4th Year High School students to apply for its undergraduate scholarship program offerings.

The DOST through the Science Education Institute (SEI), announces the opening of the Science and Technology (S&T) scholarships for School Year 2015-2016.

Application forms for the 2015 Science and Technology Scholarship Program are now available to graduating senior high school students here who intend to pursue a degree in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The Hydrology for Environment, Life and Policy (HELP)-Davao Network, a non-government organization committed to promoting Integrated Water Management Resources (IWRM) in Davao Region, is currently hosting two (2) Dutch Interns from the Van Hall Larenstein University of the Netherlands for three (3) months starting April to July 2014 at the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) XI Regional Office.

The Hydrology for Environment, Life and Policy (HELP)-Davao Network (HDN) is a River Basin Organization (RBO) committed to advocate Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) for the sustainability of the river basins in Davao City. As a member organization of the Network of Asian River Basin Organizations (NARBO), it was chosen as one of the two (2) RBOs in the Philippines subjected to NARBO’s RBO Performing Benchmarking Process to assess its level of performance.

(S&T Media Service, DOST-STII) The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) launched the first ever food processing innovation center  in the country last May 15, 2014 at the Philippine Women’s College (PWC) of Davao in Matina, Davao City. The launch formally ushered a more dynamic food industry whose gains will cascade down to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, especially for those based in the region.

S & T Media Service - The Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources jointly launched last May 17 the Yolanda Rehabilitation Scientific Information Center (YoRInfoCenter) to provide scientific data to national agencies and humanitarian organizations concerned with the rehabilitation of areas in Eastern Visayas ravaged by typhoon Yolanda.
